CPHC in South Australia

This 5 year, Australian NH&MRC funded study examines the comprehensiveness of PHC in 5 different services in South Australia and the Northern Territory. Led by Professor Fran Baum of     Flinders University of South Australia, but with international collaborative participation from Professors Ronald Labonte and David Sanders, co-leads of the Teasdale-Corti 'Revitalizing Health for All; project (see: http://www.globalhealthequity.ca/content/revitalizing-health-all), the study attempts to understand the 'whole' of health services in their capacities to act upon the vision of comprehensiveness (equitable access, community participation and development, attention to social determinants of health, intersectoral action, health advocacy and campaigning), and the enablers and barriers to their abilities to do so.
